Synopsis 

"Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King" revolves around Asta, a boy born without magic in a world where magic is everything, striving to become the Wizard King. The movie introduces Conrad Leto, a former Wizard King who, along with three other revived Wizard Kings, seeks to destroy the Clover Kingdom and build a new world order, believing it will bring equality.  The story is set during a time when the Clover Kingdom is celebrating a magic tournament. Asta, despite lacking magic, dreams of becoming the Wizard King, a goal he shares with his rival Yuno. Their rivalry and determination to reach the top are central to the narrative. 

However, the festivities are disrupted by the re-emergence of Conrad Leto, a former Wizard King, and his group of powerful allies. Conrad, once revered, now harbors a deep resentment towards the Clover Kingdom, believing it is corrupt and unequal. He wields the "Imperial Sword" and seeks to reshape the kingdom, reviving three past Wizard Kings (Edward Avalaché, Princia Funnybunny, and Jester Garandaros) to help him achieve his goal. 

Conrad's motivation stems from a tragic past where he was framed by the kingdom's royal faction, leading to the death of his wife and squad members. This event fueled his desire to destroy the existing order and create a society where everyone is equal. The movie explores themes of cynicism versus optimism, as Asta and the Black Bulls confront Conrad's nihilistic view of the world. 

The film features intense action sequences as the Black Bulls and other Magic Knights fight against Conrad and the revived Wizard Kings. Asta's unwavering spirit and refusal to give up, despite his lack of magic, become crucial in rallying his comrades and inspiring others to fight for what they believe in.
