Synopsis
The story follows Mito Yamamoto, a lonely girl who has spent much of her life struggling to survive after losing her family and home. Disguising herself as a boy to avoid unwanted attention, Mito works tirelessly to make ends meet until she is suddenly discovered by the mysterious and charismatic vampire Ruka Saotome. Recognizing her rare and irresistibly sweet blood, Ruka proposes an unusual arrangement: Mito can live safely in the vampire dormitory if she agrees to become his “food.”
Now living among a group of elite vampire students, Mito must continue hiding her true identity while adjusting to her new life inside the dormitory. As she grows closer to Ruka and the other residents, she becomes entangled in complicated relationships, hidden vampire traditions, and emotional conflicts that challenge her sense of self. What begins as a desperate attempt to survive gradually transforms into a journey of love, trust, and self-discovery, as Mito learns that even in a world filled with supernatural beings, the deepest battles are those of the heart.
