Synopsis
Taro Sakamoto, the legendary hitman who traded his life of violence for a quiet suburban convenience store, finds his hard-won peace under fire as a 1 billion yen bounty turns every assassin in Japan against him. While Sakamoto remains committed to his wife’s strict "no-kill" policy, the arrival of X (Slur), a mysterious figure aiming to dismantle the Japanese Association of Assassins (JAA), forces him back into the shadows to protect his family and community.
Accompanied by his loyal staff—the telepathic Shin and the former Triad member Lu—Sakamoto must confront a wave of escaped death row convicts and elite killers who threaten the mundane life he cherishes. To uncover the truth behind Slur’s past and stop a brewing war within the underworld, the team decides to infiltrate the JCC (Japan Clear Creation), the world’s most dangerous assassin training academy.
