Overview
I've Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level Season 1 (2021) is a relaxing, "low-stress" isekai produced by Studio Revoroot that follows the tranquil life of Azusa Aizawa. After dying from overwork in the corporate world, Azusa is reincarnated as an immortal, unaging witch in a peaceful fantasy land, where she vows to live a simple, leisurely life. For 300 years, she earns a modest living by hunting only the weakest slimes, but eventually discovers she has unintentionally maxed out her level to 99, making her the most powerful being in the world. The season focuses on Azusa’s efforts to maintain her quiet lifestyle while her new-found fame attracts a diverse "found family" of powerful allies, including the red dragon Laika, twin slime spirits Falfa and Shalsha, and the ditsy elf apothecary Halkara.
Synopsis
After a life of exhausting labor leads to her early death, Azusa Aizawa is granted a second chance as an immortal witch on a quiet highland plateau. Determined to never overwork again, she spends three centuries killing just a few slimes a day to pay her bills—unaware that the accumulated experience has secretly turned her into a god-like warrior. When a guild worker accidentally reveals her Level 99 status, Azusa’s peaceful solitude is shattered by a parade of challengers and seekers, from dueling dragons to high-ranking demons like Beelzebub. The story follows Azusa as she navigates her unwanted status as the world's strongest being, transforming potential enemies into a eccentric but loving household and proving that true strength lies in knowing when to rest.
