Synopsis
Ne Zha 2 picks up after the dramatic events of the first film, where Ne Zha and Ao Bing's physical forms are destroyed by lightning, but their souls survive. Master Taiyi Zhenren uses the mystical Seven-Colored Sacred Lotus to reconstruct their bodies, though the new forms are unstable and incomplete. Believing his son has perished, Ao Guang, the Dragon King, leads an attack on Chentang Pass alongside a host of demons. In a courageous act, Ao Bing sacrifices his fragile body to protect the town. To prevent further conflict, a temporary peace is agreed upon, allowing Ne Zha and Ao Bing to share one body during a trial to earn immortality and seek a cure to fully restore Ao Bing’s form. The story continues their journey of redemption, sacrifice, and unity in the face of chaos.
