Synopsis
Ranma 1/2 Season 1 introduces Ranma Saotome, a teenage martial artist who falls into a cursed spring in China, causing him to transform into a red-haired girl when splashed with cold water and return to his male form with hot water. Upon returning to Japan, he is forced into an arranged marriage with Akane Tendo, the youngest daughter of a martial arts dojo, setting the stage for their turbulent relationship and the series' comedic, often martial arts-focused, adventures with other characters who also possess cursed transformations.
