Synopsis
Following the dramatic events of the previous season, where Wang Ling nearly destroyed and recreated the world to save Sun Rong, life at Songhai No. 60 High School seemingly returns to normal. However, the fabric of reality is fragile, and the spiritual energy of the human world is rapidly depleting. Wang Ling’s father struggles to create a stronger talisman to suppress his son's ever-growing, god-like powers, which threaten to leak and obliterate the planet. Meanwhile, the Supernatural Security Department, led by the suspicious and powerful Yi Zhiyang, begins investigating the strange spiritual anomalies surrounding No. 60 High School, putting Wang Ling’s low-profile existence in jeopardy.
As the school year progresses, Wang Ling, Sun Rong, Chen Chao, and Guo Hao are thrust into a series of bizarre challenges. From dealing with a mischievous golden elixir spirit to participating in a highly competitive joint military training exercise with rival schools, Wang Ling must constantly hold back his strength to maintain his average student facade. Things complicate further with the arrival of the Demon Realm's elite agents, who seek to exploit the human world's fluctuating spiritual energy. They target Sun Rong, whose soul remains vulnerable after her resurrection, forcing Wang Ling to covertly intervene. Using his signature crispy noodle snacks as a source of comfort and a catalyst for his power, Wang Ling navigates these threats from the shadows.
The climax of the season builds during a massive inter-school competition that is hijacked by a powerful ancient entity seeking to harvest the spiritual energy of all the students.
