Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 continues the popular supernatural anime based on the manga by Gege Akutami. Synopsis
The first part of the season looks back at the student days of Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto when they were young sorcerers studying at Tokyo Jujutsu High. During this time, they are assigned to protect a special individual known as the Star Plasma Vessel. The mission brings them into contact with powerful opponents and difficult decisions that slowly begin to change their perspectives. These events reveal the origins of the complex relationship between Gojo and Geto and explain how their paths eventually begin to separate.
The story then moves back to the present day, where a carefully planned operation begins in the busy district of Shibuya. A group of powerful curse users and cursed spirits attempt to isolate and seal the strongest sorcerer, Satoru Gojo, creating a large-scale crisis for the jujutsu community. As the situation spreads across the city, Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, and many other sorcerers work together to protect civilians and stop the growing threat. The Shibuya Incident becomes a major event that tests the strength, determination, and resolve of everyone involved while shaping the future direction of the series.
