Synopsis
The story follows Hikaru Gero, a skilled young assassin and the heir to a centuries-old clan specializing in deadly poisons. Because he lives in the criminal underworld, Gero believes he has no prospects with women and is entirely content staying single. However, his grandmother issues an ultimatum: he must marry and produce an heir, or the clan will force his younger sister into an arranged marriage against her wishes. Determined to protect his sister's freedom, Gero decides to find a bride but quickly realizes he completely lacks social skills and has no idea how to date. In desperation, he spares his next target—a brilliant marriage swindler named Mei Kinosaki—in exchange for relationship coaching. Together, the duo uses Gero’s combat talents to save women from dangerous situations to create dramatic "meet-cutes," plunging him into a chaotic, action-packed matchmaking battle.
