Synopsis
In the wake of the Shibuya Incident, Japan is plunged into unprecedented supernatural turmoil. The ancient sorcerer Kenjaku has successfully sealed the world's strongest sorcerer, Satoru Gojo, and unleashed thousands of cursed spirits and new sorcerers across the nation. To achieve his ultimate goal of evolving humanity through cursed energy, Kenjaku initiates the 'Culling Game'—a ritualistic battle royale where participants must kill one another to accumulate points. Yuji Itadori, still reeling from the loss of his mentors and the guilt of Sukuna’s actions, joins forces with Megumi Fushiguro and fellow students to navigate this nightmare. Their primary objective is to enter the various barriers scattered across Japan to find a way to unseal Gojo and save Megumi’s sister, Tsumiki, who has been forcibly entered into the game. Along the way, they encounter formidable ancient sorcerers from the past and modern players with lethal techniques. As the boundaries between life and death blur, Yuji must navigate a landscape of betrayal and extreme violence, all while the specter of Ryomen Sukuna looms large, waiting for the perfect moment to reclaim control and reshape the world in his image.
